Today's offering is pure fun - a bit wonky, but I don't think I would have attempted this at the beginning of the month. The 'blue ball' rules in our house. Luckily for us Cleo is the ball girl and Kali loves a stick - everyone is happy!

So sweet :) I think you hit your stride long ago. But I get it totally. Coming with less struggle. Awesome work here, love the patterns, and the wonky ;) And the look that says, "This ball is mine. Wanna play?"
ReplyDeleteI appreciate you 'getting it'! Can't believe only two day left. Glad you like 'Blue Ball' - and you so totally get that too!! Take care and can't wait to see what you have for Day 29!
ReplyDeleteONE of the gifts of your paintings this month has been the style of your drawings and their partially veiled visibility in the finished pieces. Love your description of "getting the imagery and info I need (and want)" from drawing first. Love that painting daily has moved you into new spaces.
ReplyDeleteThank you Dotty. I have always recognized the value of drawing - but have never been that accepting of how I draw - you know how that inner conversation goes! Having you recognize my 'style' is a gift I am grateful for this month. Have a wonderful day ox
DeleteGorgeous series of your dogs portraits. Enjoying so much all of them: the process, the result and the stories.
ReplyDeleteThank you , thank you Martine! Makes me feel so good to know you have enjoyed them. Happy painting to you! ox

ReplyDeleteEach one tells a different story! They all have the tenderness of love, just flows through!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you can see that Carol! Means a lot. Like you we love and value our animals as part of our family. Having you see that in these paintings is really more than I had hoped for when I started the 30 Days. Thank you very, very much ox
