  1. Janet, this rendering of Tess is exquisite! I am slack-jawed in wonder at your ability to use a monochromatic palette and 'mere' dabs of paint to so fully bring to life this pup. You have used differences in value and brushstroke to work magic. High five to you!

    1. Thank you Dotty!! You will laugh - tried a 'new' brush....bought a year ago and has sat in the brush jug till Tess. (Small goat hair, with long handle....should have tried earlier!) Have a lovely day - heading over to your blog now.....
