It was just one of those days when you couldn't take things too seriously.....even painting! I am not sure who is who - but what I am sure of is they are steadfast and true barnyard companions.
Flo and Mo are compelling! The abundance of quiet background space, WITH so much eye candy available for the taking through the masterful layering and veiling, delights me and lets my eyes grab treats by the fistful. Then, THEN, Flo and Mo, in all their dramatic deep color, with that palpable energy between them—swoon!
Thank you, thank you Dotty! I am not sure if I am suppose to admit this - but I love these two and painting them - well, everything just flowed! So here's to Flo and Mo! You and them have made my day!
How fun are these two, started my day with a smile. Clever the dash of color that connects them. Also really like the texture in the simple background which isn't simple at all. Dotty has it right, eye candy
Love the mix of hard and soft. Love how they seem to be deep in conversation, and "on top" of the world to boot. The colors, and that bit of pattern on top, gives me a Christmas feeling. And I love the Christmas season. The soft and calm surroundings really let them shine. Just look at that sassy tail!
