You aren't just "whistlin' Dixie" with these chickens—they are magnificent, Janet! Dixie has a very appealing cartoonish feel, with its (pencil?) markings and heavenward and somewhat bloodshot eye gaze. Your use of stencils is masterful in its creating texture, depth, and variety—keeps me exploring. Love your ongoing hints of chicken wire!
Thank you very much for all the positive feedback! Pencil, stencils and 1/2" edge brush help with the feathers. Was thinking the hints of chicken wire adds a bit of texture and part of the chicken theme but not too much though! Love the descriptions you have given these chickens over the past week - have brought a smile to my face :))
LLLLOOOOVVVVEEEE! LOVE! Love the purples and yellows. The jewel like patterns. The wet look, the unfinished just out of bed look. The dazed where's my coffee look. You're a wonder!
