Thirty Paintings in 30 Days - Day Twenty

I did quite a bit of painting yesterday and I am starting to notice some differences in how I approach the whole process. I am selecting less colours for my palette and mixing more neutrals and tones, my brushstrokes are much more confident, I don't mind covering up that 'special' spot and painting on and my mark making is looser and seems to flow more. And sometimes (not always as often as I would like) I know when to stop! I give credit to participating in Leslie Saeta's Thirty in Thirty for September. I have two workshops coming up - one this week and the other the beginning of October. Having done all this painting prior to the workshops I am feeling much more confident and looking forward to the opportunity to paint with these artists.
